It’s an Orbit
Students will investigate Earths rotation around the sun, and the rotation of the moon around earth, and how this causes changes such as night and day and moon phases.
Students will construct their very own Sun, Earth & Moon Desk Light with laser cut and 3D printed parts to take home and consolidate their learning and understanding.
This incursion is fantastic for including the ‘Capabilities’ curriculum; Critical & Creative Thinking, Ethical Capability, Intercultural Capability and Personal & Social Capability.
Cost: $400.00 base rate, + $6.50 per student, + 10% GST.
The ‘per student’ charge is to cover the cost of materials and components for the sun, earth & moon lamp.

Incursion Information
The maximum group size for this incursion is 30 students.
This is a 60-90 minute incursion.
All students will receive a take home Sun, Earth & Moon Desk Lamp with this incursion.
We will require a large indoor area for this incursion, with tables and chairs for the students.
We will need access to a digital display screen for the teacher to connect to a laptop and display the presentation/demonstration.
We can run a maximum of three - four sessions per day.
The teacher will arrive 45 minutes before the session to setup the room.
All students will receive a take home Creator Kidz name badge.
Classroom teachers must be present at all times during the incursion to assist with supervision.
